When Sarah told me she wanted to incorporate her love of dance into her senior photos I could not have been more excited! I absolutely love capturing your passions and personality in your senior pictures and I am thrilled with how these turned out!! The Loveland, CO skies gave us the most beautiful glowing light as we neared the end of our session and lit up Sarah as she leaped into the air! Check out what she has to say about our time together as well as the results from our session <3
What kind of look were you going for in the shoot?
I would say that in my shoot, I was going for multiple looks. I aimed for classy, bohemian, and something more casual as well as having photos incorporate my main passion; dance. We completely achieved those styles and my personality came through with each look which was great.
How was your overall senior photo session experience?
My overall experience was flawless! It was such a relaxed, yet high energy shoot and Kate is so easy to be around. She made the experience so memorable and fun for everyone involved.
How did you feel about the hair and make up experience?
The hair and make up experience was wonderful as well! Keegan made me look perfect, which boosted my confidence incredibly for the shoot. She is so sweet and funny, and AMAZING at what she does. My make up and my hair looked prime for the whole shoot.
What's one piece of advice you have for other seniors getting their picture taken?
I would just say, really have a clear vision of what you want your pictures to look like because Kate will 100% bring that to life. Don't hold back! Just have fun with it since they're going to be your pictures in the end.
How many outfits did you bring and was it enough? Was it too much? Anything you'd change?
I brought four outfits and personally I thought that was the perfect amount. I think bringing more than you think you'll need is a good idea just in case you change your mind about anything!
How did you choose to accessorize your outfits?
I chose some earrings and bracelets for my pictures. I don't use a ton of accessories in my every day life so I didn't stress about it too much. The jewelry did make a nice addition though!
What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
Creative, confident, sassy!
What are your plans for after high school graduation?
I have plans lined up to move to California with my best friend and chase after my dreams! I'm planning to work as a dancer, model, actress and overall just experience as much as I can while we're there. I can't wait to see the directions it could take me in and maybe after I feel content with that, I will look in to college. I'm mainly focused right now on finding inspiration and enjoying my art form.
